Digital visibility plays a very important role for companies when it comes to growing your brand. Strong digital visibility means increasing your chances to reach new customers, strengthens the brand awareness and helps to engage with your customers.

By redesigning the current website of lichaamsstaal, the goal is to improve this digital visibility.

The website of Lichaamsstaal forms the first impression that new members get of the gym. Therefore, it was important that the design accurately represents the identity of Lichaamsstaal. The website needed to be not only informative about the services offered, but also convey the right atmosphere and energy.

For the client, it was essential that the signature blue colour of Lichaamsstaal was included in the design. However, I felt that the original shade was a bit dull and lacked the energy that fits a gym environment. I decided to replace it with a lighter blue tone, creating a fresher and more active look.

To ensure a consistent visual identity throughout the website, I created a style guide defining the colour palette and typography.

During the design process, I looked at what new members expect and need when visiting the website for the first time. The most important information, such as services, memberships, and opening hours, is therefore placed directly on the homepage. This way, the website is not only informative but also encourages new sign-ups by presenting information clearly.

The structure of the website has also been completely redesigned. Where the old site required users to navigate through different pages to find what they needed, the new design allows them to simply scroll and discover everything in one place. Allowing the user to further navigate for extra information

The end result is an accessible and energetic website that represents Lichaamsstaal’s identity in a modern way. With its fresh blue tones, generous white space, and consistent typography, the site feels dynamic and inviting.

Photography plays an important role in this. The images feature real members and moments from the gym, reinforcing the sense of community and personal connection.

Together, the improved structure, use of imagery, and consistent visual identity create a website that is not only informative but also inspiring. Perfectly reflecting what Lichaamsstaal stands for.
